Okay, I know this was petty but it certainly made me laugh so there is typically at least one really really nails on chalkboard irritating person that you have to work with. The type of person who is never happy and has been in their job too damn long, the walking Eeyore's the people who only joy in life is making others as grumpy and miserable as they are. So the Eeyore in my vicinity comes plodding in to my office, and to set the scene I'm sitting here with my headphones on listening to music while I'm working away on the keyboard. That is before Eeyore breaks my work flow with a snotty comment as she was placing something that (doesn't even have to do with me) on my boss's desk.
I didn't give Eeyore the attention it desired so it turns to me to while continuing to bitch and moan so I unplugged my headphones and turned up to volume so that Eeyore could perhaps grasp how much I did not care about their snotty comments as 311 with perfect timing sang out:

and faces keep on changing
while there changing
a certain few will stay in tact
when they're not they'll don an act
I know this important fact
don't get confused like
And he's got a head full of ideas
let me tell ya, that you wouldn't believe"
while giving a well practiced glare and a slight smile. Petty yes, but it made me laugh and confused the gray donkey enough that it left with not further comments.
