You can't have your pride and be successful. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that there is nothing wrong with asking for help or admitting a mistake. One reason I love my little trio of accountants that I work with is that there is no ego (okay perhaps that's an overstatement but there is a small, munchkin size ego) but we work so well because we do not try to color our blonde moments with cheap dye.
The hard thing I've realized is expanding this idea to other areas of my life and even at work within other departments where I may not be surrounded by my perfect little trio of the non judgmental breakfast club. There's no such thing as a stupid question right?
