The future of libraries, I was waiting to see technologies influence on public libraries and now we see it. I for one can not imagine giving up my physical books there is a comfort in holding the book in your hands, smelling the paper, dog earring your favorite pages, the sound the paper make as it flips to the next page.
But I do think the e-book library will be great for college campuses because nothing is worst than lugging around an 700 page cost accounting book that costs your $130 and that you will use for a few weeks and then burry under your bed because when you try to sell it back at the end of the semester it is brought to your attention that next year the school will be using a new edition..... On the plus side my cost accounting book makes a great weight when doing lunges in the house, and i suppose makes me look smart when sitting on my shelf. (No? Oh well)
